OUR COMMUNITY

Our Campus is the BEST of Downtown Santa Barbara
Our campus is located in the heart of Santa Barbara. Knox students flow between their classrooms and our outdoor courtyards for both study and play. They can be found enjoying the sun on our grass, enjoying a good book on a bench, jumping in our garden, and inventing elaborate games together in our labyrinth.

Our location gives us unique access to some of the best that downtown has to offer!

Alice Keck Park is across the street and gives us path to meander down as we contemplate writing assignments.
Alameda Park is just next to that and gives us Kids' Work Playground and large open spaces for recesses and PE classes.
Also across the street is the Santa Barbara Museum of Art's Ridley-Tree Learning Center, which is the home to our fine art & ceramics program.
Aside from our on-campus library, our classes regularly walk to the Santa Barbara Central Public Library for an expanded book selection.
The State Street shuttle has been known to zip our class down to the MOXI museum and the Sea Center at the pier.
Multiple theatres are walking distance for field trips to experience local plays, musicals, and ballets, as is the Santa Barbara Museum of Art for art study and appreciation.
