Who else belongs here
Knox is the right school for more children than can currently be reached and still it requires the contributions of the whole community to educate the students here at Knox. Similar to nearly all other independent schools, tuition at Knox does not cover the actual cost of a Knox education and philanthropy is what closes the gap.
Every gift to Knox is a gift towards expanding the capacity and reach of the school.
Why we ask
Independent schools are not funded by tuition alone, and Knox is no exception. Philanthropy is what lets us:

Our need-based tuition assistance helps put a curious, motivated child in a classroom alongside other bright and inquisitive children, which is the whole purpose of the school.
Teachers who stay and grow
Giving sustains the people and conditions that make Knox thrive. Community contributions help retain teachers who know gifted learners and provide professional growth to advance the work.
Further than a classroom
Beyond the core program, philanthropy supports electives, projects, specialized learning materials and trips that take a question further than a classroom can on its own.
