Our Commitment
The Knox School of Santa Barbara is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we think about welcome.
The Standard We Work To
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the standards most widely used to make web content accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
What We Have Done
This site was designed and built with accessibility in mind, including readable color contrast, text alternatives for meaningful images, keyboard navigation, clear heading structure, and labeled forms.
Where We Know We Fall Short
Accessibility is ongoing rather than finished. Some older documents and some third-party content embedded in our site, including our application platform and payment tools, may not yet meet the same standard. We are working on these.
Tell Us About a Barrier
If you have trouble using any part of this site, we want to know, and we will help you get the information you need another way. Contact us and we will respond within two business days.
